and has anyone had any experiance kryloning up there weapon? looking at just doing the foregrip and stock but could be tempted to go the whole hog
Cheers!

Hey m8 because the 15s a v2 gearbox you have to take out the front pin as well and the upper slides off as in pull the stock and the front end apart this should work

Cheers Colin Got the front set off no probs, will make it nice and easy for painting
Only problemo i have now is gettin the bleedin thing back on, goes all the way on apart from the last few mm's where the two metal prongs wont marry up with the rear end any tips? or maybe i should just keep it in 2 parts and let you do it?
Bleedin aug aint this hard to strip

I just wish my M15 turns out 1/10th as good as this!
although this is what i had in mind when i first had the idea, beautiful paint job, love the stark differance between the paint and the bare gun, maybe not the best setup operationally but who cares!
Thought i had best throw this in the mix..
but why he didnt paint the pistol grip i will never know..
Same guy in his MC...
Pretty effective with that sort of scrub, shame about the blue team ID's

Well i got kinda bored and had a painting session last night <yeah what a wild saturday night eh>
A few lessons i learned...
* Newspaper sticks to wet paint like freakin crazy, so paint on cardboard not paper, that way if anything falls over you dont have to sand off the paper!
* 2 light "Ghost" coats gives a far better colour and coverage than one heavy coat.
* Magazines are a BAS***D to paint, there coating repels the paint <yeah or you could use primer>
* Spray paint fumes suck
* Painting is fun!
The paint dosnt look too shiny in the pics with flash, compared to other paints ive seen used. It really is SUPER flat once applied properly and dries really fast.
If anyone wants there handguards sprayed a flat colour i reckon i could do it pretty easy, not tried proper cam painting yet but cant wait for the other colours to get here!
<and yeah my house is a mess >
