CQC - Rules of EngagementHi guys,
i thought i would post a few guidelines for our close combat game.
CQB Velocities: During CQC, the velocity rule is to be observed at all times. No AEG (Automatic Electric Gun), Gas Gun, or electric/gas pistol that is full-auto or burst-capable is allowed to fire above 280fps.
Users will aim torso or lower as situation allows. Headshots DO count but should be avoided if possible.
No blind-firing. If player cannot see where muzzle is pointed, that is blind-firing. Shooter must be able to see muzzle and intended target area.
You may surrender an enemy if witihn a few feet, you are behind him and/or have a clear shot and he is unaware of your presence. To surrender a player call "take your hit" loudly.
All pointblank shots should be avoided.
Personal safety, as always, is especially important during CQC games. Adequate head and body protection should be worn. Full face protection is recommended.
Foul, intimidating or abusive language is not allowed. Out of control tempers will not be tolerated on the field. If someone speaks to you in an inappropriate manner, bite your tongue. If you respond to inappropriate language with inappropriate language you have just inflamed the situation and both players will come off the field to discuss the matter with a member of the field staff.
thinks that covers most areas. if anyone wishes to add comment please do so.
