I would think like us at MIA you will suffer by being away from major population centres when it comes to gaining easy player numbers.

But what a great area to be playing in, I have been through/past your part of the country by sea and car.

you can upgrade to a 9.4v battery and it sure will increase your rate of fire BUT it will also increase wear and tear on the gun internals. its not usually advised to upgrade your battery without upgrading other parts too.

you should ask colibub, he is all knowing.

All of the CA guns are capable of handling a 9.6v as the gearboxes are of a higher speck than the marui guns (metal bushing and upgraded gears)

I run a 9.6v 2400mA in my CA33 with no problem but as mutter says it does shorten the life of the internal components but not by as much as we at the start of our airsofting fun had been lead to believe.

In saying that I found to my dismay on upgrading all of the internals in my M4 including a systema high speed motor that I should have stuck with an 8.4v batt it did not need a 9.6v because of the higher speed rating of the motor. The rate of fire was just stupid with the standard spring and bang Shocked

one destroyed set of gears.

Smiffy used a 9.6 i think in his Marui AK47 and has had no problems Smile

We would recommend a couple of batts (nothing worse than running out of juice) and a couple of extra mags (at least) I think most of us have between 2 and 6 extra hicaps ye don't wanna run out of ammo in the middle of a good firefight Twisted Evil

I have had a TM Aug with M100 and oiles bushes running for 2 yrs, and the motor just burnt out haveing rented it to a smegg head Stagg party guy who cooked it using its 9.6v 2200 GP pack and unloading a full mag 330 bbs in one burst on a standard spring.

My son PuG has the same set up with hi TM AK 47, and again its done 2 yrs without any problems and is still going, although the springs starting to get a bit soft.

We find marui gears very good normaly although as with anything there is alway the bad apple set that will prove me wrong Smile

I think CA and ICS have probaly improved because most of the earler models we got on site blew up with a grinding noise after as little as 1 game Smile

I have switched to a TM M14 with again M100 and 9.6v because I think you get a quicker initial response when you start firing, and in a short burst more BBs get there quicker. But I may be deluding my self Very Happy

To be honest mate, you need two batteries minimum, your 1300mah might last a day during the summer unless you're totally trigger happy but during the winter months the cold just zaps the life out of your battery.
When you were down that weekend, the Aug you were using was hooked up to 1100mah and it nearly lasted you the day. If you want to keep to the basics at the moment ive plenty small batteries to lend. Wink
