I've been wondering what sort of chest rig/vest to get. The viper looks like the ideal solution but it seems rather pricey (well over a 100 quid) once you've added all the bits you need. Maybe it's worth it - I dunno(?)

am enjoying wearing ma plate carrier fae proud, its a good no nonsence way to carry mags and bit an bobs.plus its covered in molle attachments so adding pouches to it is a doddle, its built in mag pouches keep the vest tight to your body, keeping your profile slim. great bit o kit!....so's my blackhawk crossdraw vest, excellent for those that dont like a pistol holster on your thigh, both a bit more pricey than most but will last ages.

If you like the Viper VMS Chest rigg there is an upgraded version in Web-tex in the MLCE range http://www.ironfoot.co.uk/shop/in...LCE&act=viewCat&Submit=Go

"Internal Waste Belt"
HeH Awesome Typo!
I much prefer webtex gear over viper, just in terms of build quality, seen a VMS chest rig fall apart over a 24hr game before!

^^ thats a spanky set up

I will blame my dyslexic son for that although it was probably me
We have amended our spelling thanks "Teach"
The only item in the Viper range which is / was ( I am pretty sure they updated the last batch ) definitively crap is the triple / mag flash bang pouch.
But if you find definite defects or can see major improvements in any of the Web-tex, Viper, Trac-pack, Jack Pyke range let us know and we will relate your comments back to the manufactures.
Viper is aimed at the occasional user with quality and price to match, Web-tex is for professional use and is normally 1000 cordura material to the Vipers 600
They do listen, and will make changes, but you have to allow for stock turn over time and manufacturing - import time delay.
