Best Bits - The Weather and The Games, Nice and long. Love wading through the burn too
Worst Bit - Climbing the freaking hill over and over and the MUCK!
Oh and im pretty sure i dropped all my cash in the bbs box when taking it round
Could think of a few 3hourish roving games covering the whole glen that would be cool to try but i was impressed with the level of prep and detail you put in mate
Thanks muchly!

a truly great day out, the weather held out and a really enjoyed the extended game times, offered a real challange with the mud an terrain. An havin a bit of fun tryin to extract colins 4x4 out of the field
Highs, the first game along the trail, magic even if we lost, but whose countin, an sneakin into the rear of enemy positions an takin a few out in the back in the last game, he he
Lows, gettin shot in the nuts by colin in the first game, an no havin double agents shootin folk in the back
would be cool to play a game lasting a couple of hours, maybe with specific goals and objectives that have to be met to keep the game runnin like in the first game.

Another mighty fine day.
highlights.. must be it all. first game was great sneakin down behind davy & comrades at the trail... a fire fight,2 grenades and a smoke and he still didn't come off single shot..(only jokin m .
I think the medic rule made for more prolonged firefights making it all the more better.
the second game seemed to have major fire goin on..oh and i think are team turned into a mountain troop the way colin took us don the glen but some major shootin goin on when we got there .. also seemed to be some major battling going on on top of wasp plateau... tried to get there but tone shot me in the rear half way up. ... .
excellent day tho was looking forward to it as i missed the last 2 days o fun.

thanks for the comments lads, much appreciated.
i think highs for me were the firefights on the bridge and ho chi minh in game 1, and the sustained assault on wasp alley in game 2 (thank god i wore me helmet!!!)
couldn't believe it, after a 30 minute firefight we finaly took the hill, setup the charge, detonator in one hand battery in the other, thud! thud! thud! shot in the frigin chest! absolutely gutted! but hey! thats war!
only low i can think of is my planning of game 3, i'm not sure if i had balanced the terrain evenly and game 4 didn't play out how i intended but i think it was just getting too late in the day.
thanks to you guys for making it all work, i never heard one problem or complaint. you can plan missions and scenarios but you can never ever plan for the "human element".
and my hat goes off to the m249 gunner (aye you ken wha i mean) awesome m8.
and colin, might be a good idea to invest in a shovel?
