Ok, I've been looking at rifles and I think I've decided which one I want to get. But I wanted to run it past you lot first, just in case I'm making a wrong decision.

The one I quite fancy is this:

Classic Army M15A4 Carbine
http://www.airsoftarmoury.co.uk/p...php?cPath=33&products_id=1050

or is it worth the extra £'s for this upgraded version?:

Classic Army M15A4 RIS
http://www.airsoftarmoury.co.uk/p...php?cPath=33&products_id=1052

Is there anything different I should consider?

hi mike

these two guns are identical apart from the ris unit and lam battery box.

the ris version has rails on the foregrip for attatching accessories like laser, torch etc. it also has a dummy laser box that houses a custom battery.

you should also consider:

http://www.airsoftarmoury.co.uk/p...php?cPath=33&products_id=1053

it has the ris foregrip and a full stock for full size battery.

hope this helps.

Finally someone with some sense, asking before buying. Most of us buy then ask questions, then read the manual. Laughing

Cheers mutter. I could be wrong, because it's not very clear on their website, but it looks like there a few internal upgrades as well.

I like the idea of the RIS for the reasons you mentioned, but when it comes to the (all important) aesthetics I'm not a big fan of the full stock rifles
Confused

I've done a complete 180 on my decision. I think I'm going to go for the CA 36G. There's something about that gun that I keep going back for 'just another look'.

It has lots of good features; price, compact, lightweight, RIS, 300ish fps, 470rd mag, fold away stock (for those SMG moments).

I know it only takes the small batteries... but you can't have it all I suppose Razz

Remember that you can get the battery pouch sling so that you can use bigger batteries

yeah, don't be too deterred by the small batts, just make sure you have a few spare.

plus the 36 just looks so damn cool Cool

Yeah, a battery sling or couple of spares would be the answer.

Airsoft Armoury are out of stock on a few things at the moment (including the G36)

Cheers for your help guys.

Idea Check out this review on Arnies airsoft of the CA G36, very in depth, includes good pictures and a the guns manual. What more can you ask for.
