Yeehaa! The CA 36C arrived yesterday, as did the batteries.
My first impressions are that it's one very solid and well built piece of kit - not a creek to be found anywhere - and pretty weighty. I did find the battery a bit awkward to fit at first, but I eventually just put that down to me being a bit too gentle (once I got the hammer onto it, it was fine ).
I eventually offloaded all my frustrations on an 'empty' beer box placed at one end of the hall (sniper post at the other) and I'm convinced it's got some decent firing power... I know I've got nothing to compare it against, but it seemed good.
On the other hand though, I don't reckon I'll be getting any stealth kills with it, as it seems a bit on the noisy side compared to some of the other guns I've heard.
I'm looking forward to using it in combat.

So is there anything I need to do to it now (lube, etc.) or is it ready for battle?

You shouldnt need to touch it m8 just a general wipe down after use and a barrel clean now and again or if yer like Tone a full clean down and put back in the box

I do like the M4 Tone, but I just took a liking to the G36 for some reason. And after seeing it in the flesh I'm not disappointed either.
