Ive done a lot of searching the net for info on multicam and some don't like it but most do like it a lot, most people prefer it to ACU as a multi use BDU.
In urban sites it tends to blend better than Woodland, DPM, Flectarn and most of the desert camos but the opposite applies when it comes to full green woodland where the top 3 are Woodland, DPM,and Flectarn but this changes with the weather also, the 3 darker camos stand out more in direct sunlight than multicam does
(I think that's why some of us found the baseball cap Mutter wore to be very effective on the 3rd)

BUT when it comes down to it, the skill of the person wearing the camo no matter what type it is can make it more or less effective(YOU MOVE YOUR SEEN)

A lot of the time your weapon gives you away more than what your wearing. How many times has it been said "oh if it wasn't for your red dot scope I'd never have seen you" and a black gun amongst green foliage

Cost is an issue Vie just paid £107 inc del to SKD Tactical in the US but then you all know a little larger than the norm and could only get my size from the US. Storm Tec in Germany can get me the 2XL size but they don't know how long it could take so I took the plunge and opted to get it from the US.

You can also get it for as little as £40 a set from HK inc del

I still prefer the digi cams, I use cadpat and marpat.

Both for differnt times of the year, when its all green and ferny cadpat rules and the opposite applies to marpat, ive got within ten feet of someone before being seen <or should i say they got 10 feet from me!>

But the primary things afaic are movement, skin tone and being sillouetted. i notice a BIG differnce when im showing no skin tone <either face veil or cam paint> and everyone knows if you move you are seen <" I am a stone...">

But the multicam does look pretty :p

Oh and ACU SUCKS big time for pure woodland in my experiance, WAY to light for a dark woodland setting.

Am like a kid in a candy shop, a like the being different aspect of the multicam Shocked , the ability to blend in locally with the DPM Twisted Evil , but at the moment am tempted, really tempted to go all black Cool , even got the swat boots this morn an have been wearin them at work to break them in, although they are really comfy out of the box. Ill jump in on this one.... i agree wae davy totally.. any pictures i have seen wae multi cam it tends to fit that colour..it was designed for the usa it seems not european theater..im not saying its not cool.. it is cool but im not convinced of its effectiveness in a european theater.. u just have to look at the colours of the armed forces in european enviroments not usually in lite colours usually dpm style colurs to fit in with terrain... however i could be totally wrong as i said in an earlier post if the sas start using it then we know its good and if they dont it must be rubbish as they are the men.. who still train and it seems operate with americans so they can nearly get something rite..... Laughing

lol i probably get a big back lash from this post..... but a cant help the facts.
